PT. Puri Zuqni
It was founded in 1974 as a limited liability company to own and run hotels. In 1985 the ownership passed to a group of new investors with Mrs. Widowati Hartono. At the time of purchase, the company had no operations.
Puri Zuqni’s senior management consists of personnel with vast business acumen and experience. The chairman and de facto Chief Executive Officer is Mr. Budi Hartono, Mrs. Widowati Hartono’s husband. Budi Hartono is a well-known industrialist. He is the CEO of PT. Djarum, one of the big three in Indonesia’s cigarette industry, and chairman of PT. Hartono Istana Electronics, one of the largest home electronics appliance manufacturers in the country.
In January 31, 2000 the share holders of PT. Puri Zuqni decided to form two (2) holding companies as owners of PT. Puri Zuqni. These two (2) holding companies and their respective share holders are PT Swawisma Mahadhika and PT Swabawa Mandhaga.
